We have a lot planned for after Season 2, and we’re excited to share it with you. Here are just a few things players can look forward to once Season 2 wraps up.

### **Long-Term Item Utility**
Items and materials earned during Season 2 will retain their utility and value in future seasons.
Gear sets introduced each season will remain craftable permanently. However, crafting materials from Season 2 will only drop during Season 2 and won’t be available in later seasons.
For players looking to optimize their inventories or make strategic use of excess items, the following systems are planned:

* Gear dismantling

### **New Entry-Level Playable Characters**
A new playable class is coming soon to Onchain Heroes. This entry-level class is designed to welcome more players into the OCH ecosystem—without affecting the value or rarity of Genesis Heroes.
We’re currently designing the class, and while we don’t want to spoil too much, players can expect **permadeath** to play a key role.
You didn’t hear it from us, but this class may have already made an appearance… 😺.
