Game development philosophy

We believe in iterative development. Instead of spending months building in silence, we will roll out Onchain Heroes in seasons, adding new mechanics progressively.

This approach offers several benefits:

• Better Onboarding Experience: New players can join with each season reset.

• Longevity: Seasonal resets combat hyperinflation issues that plagued past P2E games.

• Fresh Gameplay: Evolving mechanics keep the game engaging. Players that adapt fast will do well.

• Community-Driven Development: We iterate using real game data and player feedback.

Seasons will start off short, but may increase in length as more and more content gets added.

Levels earned in seasons are reset at the end of a season in order to combat inflation and allow for a better onboarding experience to newer entrants into the ecosystem. Other rewards such as $HERO and NFTs are not reset.
