Content Creation Guidelines
⚠️ What are these Guidelines for?
Our goal is simple: align on what “good” quality looks like — and help our creators grow!
These guidelines outline the qualities we reward, and include practical tactics to increase reach, impact, and likelihood of earning bigger Creator rewards.
In short, this playbook exists to help you win!
📖 General Guidelines (Applies to all content)
Be Accurate: Check game facts (e.g. data, numbers, mechanics)
Be Readable/Watchable: Clean visuals, legible text, clear audio
Be Respectful: No hate, spam/scams (e.g. fake giveaways), or misleading clickbait
Credit sources if you’ve used a fellow creator’s footage/content
Quality Check: Ensure content is free of typos, grammatical errors, broken images or watermarks;
Avoid excessive tagging or hashtags unless there’s a clear purpose
✍️ Written Content Guidelines
What Does Great Content Look Like?
Opening with the Value: What’s the purpose of the content, and what will the reader get?
By starting with a sentence that says what it is, who it’s for, and the result they’ll get, readers are more likely to engage with your content and reply with feedback/discussions
Bite-Size Structure: Clear headers, short paragraphs, use bullet points when applicable
Make content easily digestible and skimmable so that readers can find topics they’re most interested in (e.g. separating key points into different posts within a thread)
Your content becomes easily sharable, and readers will appreciate your efforts in saving them time and mental energy
Use Visuals: Charts, screenshots, diagrams are eye-catching, easy to understand, and beats reading walls of text
When competing for attention on social media, visuals are often what make readers stop to read your post
Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Memorable Hook: A line others want to quote/share or pique their interest
This is the first thing that readers will read, which will shape how they get to know you as a creator, and the type of content that they can expect going forward
